With all the different fragrances on the market, how do you choose the perfect lasting one for you? Does it matter if it’s a perfume or toilette? Well let’s look at some of our options below:
Growing up I would often sneak and apply my mother’s perfume before school. I choose the one believed smelled best on me. Little did I know certain fragrances have longer sillage than others. Eight hours later we are both home and my mom looks puzzled as she walks around the house and wonders what is that smell. Like any other teenager caught with their hand in the cookie jar. I came up with a quick story. I told her after she left for work I couldn’t find my deodorant so the next best thing was to apply a little fragrance. They assured me by the time I got home the scent would have completely left. Boy was that the farthest from the truth. I grabbed the Safari by Ralph Lauren didn’t know anything about sillage at the time. Am I the only one that doesn’t read labels? I guess if I had known I would have chosen a fragrance less concentrated.
To be honest there are some designers of toilette and Eau de Fraiche fragrances that are lasting due to the concentration of perfume oils in them. It really shouldn’t matter as long as you pick the fragrance that makes you smile and feel good inside. Below I will share some designer brands that represent the four strengths above they are also available on my website for purchase:
